Tycho came to our home as an adult rescue and after she had 5 litters by the time she was 6. This little bundle of joy, & energy was the absolutely smallest and most talkative pet we ever had! She quickly became my pocket pup. Her favorites were: being carried in her flannel carrier (I took her everywhere I could), hanging out on the sofa with us or in our bed, car rides, meeting other dogs & playfully dance around. Tycho was a sweet loving, athletic, dog who gave us so much joy. Sadly, over a period of several months, we noticed profound changes in her behavior, confusion, not sleeping, & a general uneasiness with day-to-day activities. We later learned these were signs of advanced canine cognitive dementia. As hard as it is to be without her now, we would fall in love with her all over again. We are thankful for Dr. James, DVM and his staff for helping us make Tycho comfortable and helping us with the hard decision to euthanize her. RIP our beloved Tycho <3
